Love and Care For Your Furbaby
I am a work from home mom of three dogs (all three are rescues from Aruba). We previously had two beagles as well, Max passed at almost 11 in 2021 and Ruger passed at almost 11 in August 2023. Before I was a dog owner, I had two cats for 16.5 and 18.5 years. I grew up with dogs as small as yorkies and as large as St. Bernards. When I am not working or hanging with my dogs I volunteer with dog transports for rescues on the East Coast. I also spend a lot of time helping rescues in Aruba to trap, neuter and release dogs and cats and have been doing so for the past 8 years. In my spare time my husband and I travel and we love visiting and hiking in our national parks. When you choose me for your dog walker (or to come spend time with your cat or dog), you choose someone who will take great care to make sure they are safe and have fun. In my rescue experience I am used to dealing with dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments. Most dogs I have dealt with have had the worst experiences with humans. My job as a transporter and rescuer has always been to keep them safe and make sure they are loved for that short time. That same mentality and my love for all animals will carry over to your dog or cat. I will treat them like they are my own.

As I was panicking to find help to take care of my dogs after a family emergency… Valerie was the hero! She immediately stepped up and squeezed us into her schedule on short notice. She provided many pictures and antidotes for me enjoy, on top of reporting any health concerns. I knew my pups were taken care of. Even my neighbors commented on her love and excitement to be there! I highly recommend Valerie if you want top tier level love and care for your dogs!

Schedule
I am currently working part time, while I have a full time job. I try to fit in walks during the mid-morning or afternoon and then again in the evenings after my work day is done.
Where your pet will stay
Safety, trust & environment
I only do drop-ins or walks. Currently I am not doing sitting or in home stays at my house. But if you choose me to walk or drop-in with your dog/cat I will treat them as if they are my pet. They’ll be spoiled and cared for like they are my own.

A typical day
Dog parks, walking trails. If there are places you do not want me to go with your dog, I will completely understand. If I’m doing a check-in are their toys your dog loves to play with, any areas to avoid in your backyard? Tell me your dogs likes/dislikes when walking and playing.
