We leash all of our rovers dogs for walks. One early morning and a longer one after breakfast. Walks when we get home, after dinner and before bed.

We treat our rover pets as our own and let them roam the house. We only crate if owners request when we are not at home. Please bring your pets food and anything that may make them feel more at home (bed, toys, treats they are used to, etc).

Any breed, however the dog must be house trained. If there is anything special about your pet, please let us know. Drop off vet information in case of an emergency. Of course I will always contact owner first if there is any issue.
A typical day
We would bring the dog with us wherever we are allowed to bring pets - whether it be outside while we are washing the cars, a car ride to visit a friend, a soccer game, or wherever we may be. My husband and I love to take long walks together around our neighborhood or on the trail behind out house.

Pet care experience
We have a large house and yard with lots of space for your dog to roam and explore. There is a beautiful wooded trail behind our house where we would love your dog to join us on walks. We have cared for many dogs in our neighborhood and always treat them as a member of the family. We are empty nesters and love being blessed with your pets. If you visit over a holiday, your pet may be blessed with visits from our grown children. We do work outside home about 4 days a week, so pet needs to be able to be alone for about 6-7 hours at a time. We are unable to own pets due to financial reasons - so your pet will get 100% of our love and attention. I send daily pics and updates unless asked not to, so you can always know how your pet is doing. Please note: I will watch 2 dogs from 1 owner. 10% discount for any stay over 7 days. 25% discount for any stay over 14 days days. 50% discount for any stay over 30 days. There is a two night minimum stay.
