I grew up on a farm and have lived with four dogs and a cat since I was little! I now have a pet of my own, a cat named Nova, and my mom is a dog groomer so I hang out with dogs all the time. I adore pets!

I think pets are such a necessary part of life! Being able to care for an animal well is a skill everyone should know, and having pets all my life has helped me be even more compassionate and selfless. Pets need to be taken care of on the basic level (e.g. food and water), but also on the stimulation level, because they have feelings too.

We feel so fortunate to have found Valerie! She was confident, inquisitive and professional. She housesat and took care of three pets for over a week. Our animals were happy and well-cared for in our absence and the house was just as we left it. I highly recommend her.
Valerie is a great pet caretaker! She’s watched after my babies a number of times while I’m out of town and has been incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She has a natural connection with pets and goes above and beyond with being a friend to them rather than a sitter. It’s obvious how much animals adore her, and anyone would be lucky to have Valerie caring for their pet.
Valerie is a wonderfully responsible and loving pet caregiver. She treats every animal with genuine compassion, pays close attention to their needs, and communicates clearly. I always feel confident and at ease knowing pets are in her care. Highly recommended!
Dogs love Valerie and we do too! Valerie is one of the kindest people I’ve met and she worked for me as a bather for several years and has a magical touch with dogs. She’s trustworthy and I’ve had her house sit for me and watch my dog and I always come home to a happy dog and home even better than I left it! Highly recommend her, you won’t be sorry. As a former Rover member, I am so happy to see someone of her quality working for Rover too.
Valerie is very loving and caring with animals. She has an extensive background with animals. She has grown up on a farm as well as shown horses competitively. She knows how to care for anything from horses, pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, and so much more. She used to be a bather at my grooming facility and hands-down one of the best bathers I have ever had as well as gifted with the animals. She’s extremely responsible as well as kind. I highly recommend her.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Valerie is an amazing dog walker! She treats my dog Nala like her own and always goes above and beyond. Nala absolutely lights up when Valerie arrives, and it’s clear she genuinely loves and cares for her. She’s reliable, kind, and always communicates well what Nala has been doing. She even sent me of a photo of Nala. It’s such a relief knowing Nala is in such good hands. Highly recommend Valerie to anyone looking for someone who truly loves dogs!

Schedule
I think about pets daily because of my own pet, but my house is right by my moms groom shop, my parents have 4 dogs, and my boyfriend has two, so it’s a part of my daily routine.
