I am pretty flexible on weekends (all-day) and Monday/ Friday afternoons. I am also available some Tuesday-Thursday late afternoons/ evenings but would appreciate more advanced notice.

I would love to take your dog on long walks to take plenty of potty breaks and sniff around. I will play with whatever toys are provided and could help on simple training you may be already working on with your pet at home!

Camper for the Guide Dog Foundation
Pet care experience
I have been a camper (dog-sitter) for service pups in training aged 2-17 months for the Guide Dog Foundation for about 1 year. I live in East Athens about 2 mi from campus but am willing to travel mostly anywhere around Athens if needed.

Valerie is the best! She takes really good care of the pets she watches and anticipates their needs. Val even has experience with guide dogs as a part of UGA's Guide Dog Foundation. If a pet is in her care, they will be very well taken care of.
Valerie and I co-adopted Sky when she was just a 2 month old kitten. While Sky lives with me, Valerie regularly comes to play with her and help take care of her. Whenever I need to go to work and someone needs to take care of Sky, Valerie will swing by and either stay the day with her or take her, her toys, and her litter and food back to her place for the day. I know Sky loves her very much, and I wouldn’t be able to raise her without Valerie’s help.
Valerie is amazing with dogs! I’ve seen her care for many guide dogs-in-training, and she goes above and beyond by caring for dogs as if they are her own. She is responsible and respectful of the owner’s instructions/wishes. I would definitely recommend Valerie for your pet’s caregiving needs!
