Hi there, my name is Val! I have 15+ years of experience with dog sitting and walking, and find it is an activity that brings true joy to my life. I’ve cared for a wide variety of dogs, from puppies to elderly dogs with serious medical needs, from escape artists to clingers, and from chihuahuas to Great Danes. To me, they’re all the best. I have three dogs of my own currently (I seem to be collecting them). My boxer mix is around 12, my pitbull is around 9, and my little cattle dog is 3. They have entirely different needs and energy levels, which keeps me humbled. Every walk is an adventure whether we’re on leash at Beck or off leash exploring BLM. Overall, they’re a great pack. As a result, I don’t offer in home overnight dog sitting we I don’t want to add too many paws to the scenario. That being said, I am easily able to keep them separate in the home, keeping my dogs in my room and using different entrances/exits to the yard to make sure everyone can comfortably do their business. My speciality is taking care of dogs in other peoples’ homes - need someone to come let your pups out or on a walk while you’re at work? If you have an out of town trip and don’t want to pay crazy prices for a kennel, let me stop by a few times per day (morning, late afternoon, night) to make sure they’re fed and relieved (and petted).
