I’ve grown up with dogs and have experience caring for pups of all sizes. I have my Masters of Social Work, which turns out translates to more than just working with humans… it also means I’m patient, attentive, and pretty great with my fur friends too 🐾 I love long walks, playtime, and giving plenty of belly rubs 🐾 Now that I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend time with your pup. I can also pick up if you’re located near Tribeca, SoHo, or FiDi!

Valerie was a godsend when I was looking for a last-minute walker for my pup. She responded quickly, the night before the request, and was communicative/attentive to all of my notes/requests. My dog recently got surgery on her back leg, so hasn’t been as eager to walk, and Valerie was patient and coaxed her to finally get going. Would definitely recommend Valerie and will book again!

Valerie has been nothing short of incredible. She watched Fox for 20 days and 20 nights, and throughout the entire time, I had complete peace of mind — which, if you’re a dog owner, you know is everything. She treated Fox like her own, paying attention to all the little details that matter — from routines to personality quirks. I could tell Fox was not only well cared for, but genuinely happy and comfortable. That’s rare. Communication was seamless, consistent, and thoughtful. Valerie kept me updated in a way that felt natural and reassuring, not forced — the perfect balance. Coming home, it was clear Fox had been in great hands. Calm, happy, and clearly bonded. You can’t really ask for more than that. If you’re looking for someone you can fully trust — not just to “watch” your dog, but to truly care for them — Valerie is that person. I would book her again in a heartbeat.
