Animals have always been a big part of my life. I cared for my own deaf English Bulldog for 10 years, learning how to communicate through touch, patience, and consistency. I also cared for my senior black Lab with hip issues—giving gentle massages and modifying our walks so we could still enjoy time together safely. Over the years, I’ve had experience with dogs, cats, birds, and fish, and I genuinely love being around animals of all kinds. I’m confident administering medications, tending to wounds, and giving extra care to both puppies and senior pets. Every animal is unique, and I take the time to understand their needs so they feel safe, loved, and at home—even when you’re away.

Valerie was amazing with Whiskey! She took such great care of him and kept us updated with photos and videos all weekend, which really put us at ease. It was clear Whiskey was happy, well cared for, and enjoying his time with her. She took him on walks and gave him lots of love and attention. Valerie is amazing! She took fantastic care of Sassy. She kept us updated with pictures and videos of their daily walks. Sassy was well taken care of, was given her daily eye drops and almost didn't want to come home.
Valerie is a wonderful sitter! My girl was comfortable with her instantly at our meet and greet, which set my mind at ease to leave her for the first time. Schedule
When picking up or dropping off your fur baby, plan on no later than 5:00 PM Pet care is a priority in my daily routine. I keep a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets the time and attention they need.

Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, their safety and comfort always come first. I take the time to get to know each pet’s routine, personality, and needs so they feel secure and cared for. I follow all instructions carefully—from feeding schedules to medications—and I keep your home clean and respected while you’re away. I create a calm, positive environment, paying close attention to body language and behavior to ensure your pet feels relaxed and safe. I always double-check gates, leashes, and doors, and I never leave pets unsupervised in unsafe situations. You can trust that your pet will be in good hands, receiving gentle care and genuine affection every step of the way.

A typical day
A typical day with your pet will be filled with attention, exercise, and fun! Depending on your dog’s energy level and comfort, we may go on walks or slow jogs around the neighborhood or head to the park for some fresh air and new scents. I also have a pool, and if your dog enjoys water and it’s safe for them, supervised swim time can be a great way to cool off and play! One of my favorite games to play is hide-and-seek — it’s mentally stimulating and a fun bonding experience. I used to play it with my own dogs. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle breaks, or just relaxing together, I’ll tailor each day to your pet’s unique needs and personality.
