Animal loving and dog obsessed
I’ve had animals my entire life. From cats and dogs to hamsters and turtles I love all animals. I have had 5 dogs and a turtle for the last 9 years and would have more animals if I was allowed. I’m constantly trying to talk my husband into moving us to the country on a lot of land so I can have tons of dogs and farm animals. I also grew up with cats, while I don’t have any now I still love them just as much as I love dogs. I promise if you let me look after your furbabies they will be treated exactly the same as my spoiled babies! I’m the type of person who loves to go to the rescues and just love on the dogs who need a little extra Attention. My dogs are my world and loved just like they are my children. I’m a stay at home mom of 1 beautiful little boy. Me and him spend most of our time at home and most of that time is outside his favorite place to be. Taking care of your pets won’t be a problem to fit into my schedule. I have a fenced in yard, three very dog friendly pugs and a 5 year old who has been taught to respect dogs. My dogs are crate trained so if I have to leave while I have your pet they would have to be crate trained as well so that they can go in their crate for the few minutes I am away. I never leave my dogs or anyones dogs out free while I am gone bc I worry that they could get into something and get hurt. My dogs are fully vaccinated and I would need yours to be as well to protect both my dogs and yours. I always watch my dogs out side while they are in the backyard just bc they could get into something that could hurt them and I wouldn’t know if I wasn’t watching. I would do the same with your pup.

This was our first time leaving our Havanese dog at someone else’s home. She has a little anxiety but Valerie made us feel comfortable that she would take very good care of her and give her the attention she needed. We needed her for two nights and a full day and she was more than happy to accommodate that for us. She sent messages to us while we were out of town and pictures of our sweet Penny. She made Penny feel at home as if she was part of their family. I would definitely recommend her Valerie for your dog sitting needs. She’s awesome!
Valerie is an amazing pet sitter! Our two pups had a great time and were well cared for. She kept us updated with daily pictures and texts to let us know how they were doing. Highly recommend Valerie and we’ll definitely book again with her.

Peanut’s stay with Valerie was absolutely phenomenal! She was attentive and responsive to his needs. I’ve never seen him go back to his sitter to tell them goodbye. He love his time with Valerie! She is definitely my go-to when I am away!
This was the first time I have ever left my dog with someone that wasn’t family. Valerie could tell Ernie was feeling overwhelmed so she created his own space that he could escape to as needed. She made sure to send updates and pictures daily. I am so happy we chose to use her and we will definitely be using her again!
Our dogs love staying with Valerie and her family! She keeps us up to date on how they’re doing and goes out of her way to ensure they feel right at home. 14/10 would recommend.

Schedule
I work from home, the only time I am away from my house is to take my little one to school and pick him up and the occasional errand that has to be run. I’m a homebody and I don’t like leaving my dogs for more than a couple of hours so we tend to stay home or have someone here with the dogs if we are out for an extended time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large privacy fenced back yard, fence is newer has no holes and we keep the gate locked so no worries on any dog getting out. Inside my home I do have my 3 pugs and other than being nosey and sniffing your dog they wont bother your dog unless your dog wants to play. My dogs are very chill and lazy but they will play with another dog if it wants to play. My 5 year old child has been taught how to respect dogs personal space and not hurt them. We do crate all dogs when we leave the house just to make sure they are all safe and not able to eat something they shouldn’t. Other than that they will be free to roam the house, lay on the couch, play outside whatever makes it happy and comfortable. Your dog will sleep in the same room as us so we ask that you bring their bed so they have a bed on the floor to sleep in.

A typical day
I absolutely love playing with dogs I will play with them and make sure they get their exercise in a fun way! I also love cuddles more than anything and will spend lots of time loving on them as well.
