Hi! Currently, I have no pets and I am home full-time so I can provide constant care for your pets. I have always had cats and dogs of all sizes and I would love to keep yours happy while you're away! I specialize in senior care and provide a private and calming indoor & outdoor experience for your pup. Whenever I needed a sitter for my dog Kodi, care was often hit or miss and he came back ready to wreak havoc! He was a very anxious escape artist who taught me how keep dogs busy and out of trouble. Now that he's passed, I enjoy giving you peace of mind while your pup has a calm stay. 🥰 Each stay, I will: - send photos! - update you about how they're adjusting, eating, etc. - take leashed walks 3-8 times per day depending on your pup's needs - provide them stimulation via treat, toy, and/or chase based play throughout the day - allow them time to fully sniff the entire yard on leash and patrol our large back deck overlooking the neighborhood I can also: - Administer oral and topical medications - Provide specialized support for senior dogs - Monitor and change disposable & reusable diapers - Become who your anxious pet shadows while you're away - Explore nearby paw-friendly walking trails My schedule is flexible and I can easily hang with your pet in your home or mine. I love to work outside (weather permitting) so pets that enjoy the sunshine are a plus! My goal is to give your furry one stability and consistency with their usual activities so they feel at ease. I'm very open to helping them feel at home, so if you have any questions or requests, just ask!

Valerie did a great job taking housesitting and taking care of our animals (dog & cats). The house was in good order and she sent photos and regular reports via chat. We know how our animals are and the reports were right on track with what experience - the good and the moody! - which added a lot of trust on our part. Definitely recommend Valerie!
Kora was beyond well cared for with Valerie, I could not have been happier she was available. Valerie asked all the right questions to understand Kora and her needs and made her very comfortable. From the 1st pic 2 hours after drop off I could see how comfortable and happy she was. Valerie's communication was great before and during the stay, it's clear she loves animals. If Valerie is available do not hesitate to book her, made me feel comfortable quickly that Kora would be cared for well
Valerie has does an excellent Job caring for my dog Chance. She is very responsive and always sends a pictures which is appreciated. I would Definitely recommend.
Valerie was great with Ophelia. She got her outside a lot so she could sniff to her heart's content. Saw her first deer! Great communication. Thanks for taking such good care of our pup!
Valarie was an exceptional sitter for Peanut. My wife and I were so pleased with the care Valarie provided during our time away. She was great at keeping us updated with [photos/messages] and we loved hearing how much Peanut enjoyed the plethora of dog beds Val had lol. We especially appreciated how she handled administering his medication, giving extra cuddles, and sticking to our routine. We also appreciate Val accommodating my flight cancelation and making herself available to care for peanut one more day. Peanut came home happy and relaxed, and we felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. We would absolutely book Valarie again in a heartbeat! Thanks again Val for all!!!!

Schedule
I am home full time and aim to keep your dog on their typical schedule so they can stay consistent with their usual life! I'm perfectly happy bringing them along with me to run quick errands or crating them/otherwise containing them if I need to leave the house. Usually, either me or my spouse is home so it's unlikely they would be alone.

Safety, trust & environment
For their safety: - Your dog will always be in view of a human when at our house (unless we're not home). - Let me know if your dog prefers to be crated or contained when alone. - We have an unfenced yard so your dog will always be leashed when outside. - they will have access to fresh water 24/7 Basically, they are part of the family when they are with us and I'll aim to recreate the activities or routines that help them feel at home and calm.
A typical day
I am home full time and my schedule is flexible. I will adapt to their typical schedule to help them adjust. In general, your dog will join us as part of the family, going about life with us, and hanging out with us. We are surrounded by sidewalks and very near several parks and paths for safe walking with your pup! As a bonus, there a very few dogs in the neighborhood and many ways to avoid them if your dog is reactive or scared.
