Must Love Dogs!
I have had dogs in my life since I was a kid. This is probably the first time in my life where I haven't owned my own animal. My last two pups, who I owned for 17 and 14 years, lived a good life and passed-on about 2 years ago. I've interacted with many dogs from rescues to purebreds and puppies to seniors. My family (who all live elsewhere) have many pets between them and we often include them in our family affairs (trips, holidays and doggie birthday parties). Since I recently retired, I have the ability to be available for your doggie's needs. I often pet-sit/house-sit for friends (including friends with cats) so I am very comfortable with various requests. I have a fenced, spacious yard, but I like dogs to keep me company inside where we can play, roam and nap too.

Thanks Valerie for watching Wallie again! Wallie usually takes a couple days to settle in a new environment, and Valerie stayed closer to Wallie in the living room overnight to help him settle in!
Valerie took such good care of my dog Buzz. He was very happy. I also loved that Valeria prepared a document ahead of time of his feeding schedule, likes etc. I will definitely use her again for Buzz.

Schedule
Since I recently retired, I have the ability to be available for your doggie's needs. This can include feedings, walks and play-time on various schedules. I won't schedule myself away for more than 2 hours if I am watching your dog. We'll be buds for the duration!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced, spacious yard, but I like dogs to keep me company inside where we can play, roam and nap too. I can crate your dog if that is how they are trained. We sleep inside. I would like you to bring their favorite toys, food/treats or blanket to make them comfortable. Additionally, there is a veterinarian within close distance in case of an emergency. In the event of an accident/emergency, I will care for your pet as best I can, notify you, and if needed, take him/her to their primary veterinarian. In the event of an urgent situation (ie. car accident or other physical injury), I will take him/her to the nearest veterinarian facility. Your pet should have all required shots and vaccinations.
A typical day
A typical day for me and your pet is really up to them (and you). Do they like to lounge and chill, do they like to play, walk and explore? We'll start our days with breakfast and TV. We'll play, go outside, potty, do tricks, potty, take a walk, and eat again later. You let me know their bed time. If they are crate trained, they'll go to sleep there. If they aren't, they will have a bed or blanket in the living room. We'll figure it out.
