Big Dog Care from Boxer Enthusiast

Pet care experience

I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. My family has owned boxers since before I was born, and I feel a special connection to big dogs. During college, I had the opportunity to care for a cat with my roommate, which was a new and rewarding experience. I enjoyed learning the nuances of cat care and building a bond with our furry companion. While in college, I also volunteered at Philly Paws, an animal shelter in Grays Ferry. My responsibilities included doing laundry, cleaning pet areas, and maintaining a hygienic environment for the animals. My favorite part of volunteering was spending time with the animals and getting to know their unique personalities. In addition to my personal and volunteer experiences, I have many years of petsitting for neighbors and friends. I take pride in providing reliable, loving support to all animals in my care.

We boarded our dog, Boo, with Valerie for a week while we were out of town. Valerie did a great job, she was very caring and responsive, she sent us photos/updates often and she took initiative to help our nervous dog get comfortable in a new environment. Our girl was in great hands with Valerie and her family. Thanks again! :)
