Information Valerie E. would like to know about your pet

I am very attention with any dog who is under my care and I have experience with dogs who have special needs, are energetic pups or those in their golden years. I have been trained to administer CPR and First Aid as well. I like to know if your pup has any special needs that I need to pay attention to as well as what their daily routine is. I like to keep my clients up to date on their dog’s care daily with photos or videos so that they know their loved one is being well cared for and that I am giving them or the most relaxing stay I can.

A typical day

I am a disabled veteran, but my schedule is very open. When I am taking care of your pup you can be sure that there will be lots of cuddling, exercise and playing in our fenced-in backyard and -- who knows? -- maybe we’ll even take a car ride or a dip in the kiddie pool!

Loving Care When Your Not There :)

Pet care experience

I have always had a special place in my heart for animals and being around dogs calms, refreshes, and makes everyday positive for. I truly feel animals are the best therapy and friend a human can have. My love of pups led me to pet sitting for many of my neighbors and friends, and then I found out about Rover and it seemed the perfect fit! My partner Kim has also been involved with animals all her life and is a very loving caretaker who is willing to take the extra step to help in any way -- this has rubbed off on her 10-year-old daughter whose dream is to become a veterinarian! She loves having all the dogs around and wants to help in any way and loves to cuddle with them. We have 5 beautiful and sweet dogs: Zeus is our 17-year-old man of the crew(recently closed his chapter in life this past July) , Tate is our 5-year-old Mini Dachshund, Sammie is our 3-year-old Chiweenie is very laid back, and his sister Sasha Anne is the leader of the pack, Gage our 10 month old mini football, and Jack our 5 month old dorkie. We also have Miss Penny, our little hedgehog. We have a comfortable home with a fenced-in yard that is well-maintained and has some tree coverage for shade when we want to cool off, but if it’s hot outside we can always hit the kiddie pool! Our neighborhood is very dog friendly and most of our neighbors have fur babies of their own. I am a disabled veteran with an open schedule which allows me to have the time to learn about every dog in my care -- I definitely go the extra mile and have the compassion and patience to work with every dog under my care. Dogs come first in my home and I have worked with a variety of breeds. I have a lot of experience with Dachshunds, senior dogs, puppies, dogs who are a flight risk or those with high energy. I have a lot of experience pet sitting and boarding pups and I have fostered and rescued many dogs over the years. I’ve also been trained in First Aid and CPR and I have experience dispensing medication as well. ****At this time boarding at my home is not available. Due to my one two dog having sensitive back issues. Only dogs considered for it for be past clients with small dogs with very low energy. I can not chance any of mu being jumped on or hurt. I hope you understand. Prices have increased over the last year due to time put in with my clients furbabies. Prices can vary or change as well. Depending on needs, amount of animals and times also. Thank you for understanding.
