I have 20+ years experience working in the petcare industry. I was a volunteer at an animal shelter, I have worked for several dog walking services, owned my own pet care business and have owned several dogs myself. I am breed knowledgeable, have medication management experience and have worked with special needs dogs. I've problem solve around your pet's issues & quirks i.e. being stubborn, refusing to walk to chasing Amazon trucks. I TAKE IN A SMALL AMOUNT OF DOGS AT A TIME, SO EACH ONE GETS THE ATTENTION DESERVE! It's not about packing them in to make a buck. I have an Old English Sheepdog, Molly, who is a perpetual puppy and loves to play. PLEASE NOTE: I CHARGE $40/DAY IF YOU PICK YOUR DOG UP PAST NOON, ON THE DAY OF PICK UP. Valerie was a great host, very communicative and so caring with our boy. She took careful note of his needs, gave him lots of snuggles, and managed the interactions between him and any other dogs. She sent great pics and updates all week. I know Remus wants to go back again!
Valerie was wonderful! She cared for our 10 year old Shih Tzu Bailey for a week. Sent photos of Bailey each day and was super responsive. Very prompt and took amazing care of Bailey!!

Schedule
I am a full-time doggy mom, and pet care provider. I'm home all day with the exception of running an errand and in that case, dogs will be crated included my own, for safety measures.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is pet/puppy proof. All garbage cans are tucked away and any other objects that might be tempting to dogs. All products I use in my yard and home are pet/enviormentally friendly (weed killer, bug sprays, etc.) . All dogs are also fed seperately to avoid any food aggression issues. I abide by other people's rules in their homes.
Pets
A typical day
Weather permitting, after morning feeding and walks, I take dogs to the dog park or dog beach (when opened) and if owners allow. I do not take pets to any areas that are not TOTALLY fenced in. I have a large variety of toys in my home, which they are allowed to help themselves to. Dogs can also bring their favorite toys or anything that makes them comfortable. On rainy days, we spend most of the time inside and they can play, sleep or relax and watch TV.

- I take all vet information in case of emergency, feeding times and amount of food at each feeding, anything they can't eat, their walk schedule (how many times they are used to going out and times), and I ask if your dog has any quirks, such as chasing squirrels or Amazon trucks so I can be prepared during walks and scan ahead to avoid a sticky situation. When doing a meet and greet before booking, I ask all questions needed to ensure your pets safety and care.
