Hi, I’m Valerie – A Loving & Active Pet Sitter! 🐾 I’m a pet lover and local educator with a schedule that allows me to be home evenings, weekends, and holidays—perfect for caring for your furry friend! I offer doggy daycare, boarding, house sitting, drop-ins, and dog walking any day of the week. As an avid hiker and outdoors enthusiast, I’d love to take your dog on walks, hikes, or runs. I currently don’t have any pets of my own—my beloved 9-year-old English Bulldog recently passed, and I truly miss having a pet around. I’d love to borrow yours for some love and adventure! I live in Sudden Valley, near Lookout Mountain and plenty of trails—so your pup will get plenty of outdoor time! I treat all pets as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. 🐕 Daily Routine: ☕ Morning coffee & pet walk 🐾 Day filled with cuddles, hikes, or playtime 🌅 Evening walk before bedtime I provide frequent potty breaks, follow owner feeding instructions, and take dogs on at least two walks per day—plus runs and hikes with permission. Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced-in backyard/dog run and always supervise dogs while they’re outside. On walks, I keep them leashed to ensure their safety and prevent them from wandering off. I love taking dogs on walks and hikes and spending quality time cuddling and giving them plenty of love and attention! 🐾❤️

Valerie was an excellent dog sitter for our 9-year-old large dog, Tucker. From the start, the process was seamless—both drop-off and pick-up were easy and stress-free. Valerie lives in a beautiful area, which gave us peace of mind knowing Tucker had a nice environment to stay in. With eight years of experience, Valerie clearly knows how to care for dogs. Tucker was happy and well-cared for when we picked him up, and it was clear he had been in good hands. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely reach out to her again in the future! Highly recommend Valerie to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter.
Valerie was absolutely great with our dog. She deftly help navigate an incident with excellent communication and feedback to help us make sure he has a good experience in the future. Loved getting daily photos and updates. Will definitely recommend.
Valerie is awesome. I almost hesitate to give her a review because I don’t want her schedule to fill up! My senior kitty just fell in love with her, which is what I hoped for. Valerie stayed at my house and I came home to everything neat and tidy. I received frequent updates and pictures, which I appreciated. I totally plan to use Valerie in the future.
Valerie was absolutely amazing! She sent me lots of pictures and updates of my 4 dogs while I was away which was great. The house was very clean when I got home, laundry done too! My dogs are happy and relaxed. I am very pleased and will for sure book again!
Our 8 month old puppy Tico was very well taken care of and went on plenty of adventures while we were gone for three nights. She walked him around the lake, the waterfront and other trails. Even took him to a restaurant with outdoor seating. She also worked on some commands with Tico. We came home to a happy and relaxed puppy. Valerie stayed in our home and things were tidy and well cared for while we were gone. I would not hesitate to use Valerie again. We have every confidence in her abilities and trust her decision making. Most of all, Tico was very well cared for and played with while we were gone.

Schedule
I currently work full-time during school hours, so while I still offer dog boarding and house sitting, I am out of the house during the day. My routine includes early morning feedings and potty breaks before I head to work. When I return, I take the dogs out for a walk, followed by dinner and relaxation—usually cuddling on the couch while watching TV. Your pup will get plenty of love, attention, and care while staying with me! 🐾❤️
