I have lived with and taken care of pets my whole life. Since I was a little kid, my grandparents have always had 3 St. Bernards that I would frequently baby sit and take care of. I am also known in the office as the pet sitter. When any of my colleagues go out of town, they ask that I either stay at their place or check in daily on their fur babies.

I have no problem following owners specific instructions. I know with my pets, I can be a helicopter parent and ask for very specific things to be done.

Valerie is such a gem with any and all cats. She greets them with warmth and a smile, never forgetting to cuddle. A five start rating for sure – we love her!
Val is simply the best. She is so kind, attentive, and gentle with animals. The first time Val came over, she asked questions about Autumn, my cat, that gave her an understanding of her behavioral tendencies and preferences. One thing that makes a Rover stand out for me is sharing tons of updates - I love seeing a plethora of photos and videos of autumn and I know Val will be on top of that. I would feel extremely comfortable and confident in leaving Autumn with Val.
When I rescued my pup, Pickle, he was loving but really shy. So I was nervous that Valerie and him would take a while to click. However, with Valerie's loving and caring nature, Pickle trusted her instantly. With patience and kindness, she helped him blossom. Now he wiggles with joy when Valerie arrives. She turned his fear into pure happiness.

Schedule
Pet care actually fits perfectly into my schedule! I work from home on Fridays and my office is very close to home, so I’m able to check in frequently and keep a consistent routine for the pets I watch. Now that I’ve finished grad school and have more free time, I love filling it with walks, playtime, and taking care of pets.
