Growing up on a farm in Oregon, I don't remember a time in my life that I wasn't surrounded by animals. From a young age we have had cows, chickens, horses, dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fish. I moved to California to be with my fiancé and progress in the veterinary field. I did not realize I wanted to be a veterinarian until I started working in a veterinary hospital. Seeing the doctors first hand save animals inspired me, so I am now in school to get my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. We currently have the a dog, two cats, and a tortoise. My dog has a disability affecting his back legs, when we rescued him he dragged his paws, now he runs at the dog beach, walks up stairs, and jumps on our bed. I currently work at a veterinary hospital that works along with rescues and have 3 years of professional experience as a receptionist, vet technician, and kennel attendant.

Valerie was EXCELLENT!!! She was very attentive and friendly - our shy dog bonded with her so quickly!!!
Valerie always does a great job watching our dogs and house sitting for us! This time we had some last minute travel changes (our flight out was canceled, so we needed to cancel the first day, and we missed our connecting flight back, so we got back much later than expected), and she was super patient and flexible, so she came a day late and came back to check in on the dogs on the last day of our vacation. We would highly recommend her!
Valerie did a great job taking care of our dogs! She came over ahead of time to review our special needs dog’s feeding routine. She sent cute pictures and updates. And our dogs loved her!
Valerie did a fantastic job with our two pups - she kept me updated and took great care of them. Would definitely use her again in the future!
