Their home away from home
We have both had pets ever since we were kids and love having them around. We lost our dog of 11 years a little over a year ago, and have found how much we enjoy getting to meet and love on and take care of other peoples dogs. We treat them like family, but of course will adhere to your personal rules for how you would like them to behave, whether they are allowed on the furniture etc. In our house it’s OK :-) We live in a very walkable neighborhood, and enjoy being outside and walking the dog as well. We live in a townhouse, and have our own courtyard where they are welcome to relax and enjoy in addition to regular walks. Since we do allow more than one dog in our home at once, we only request that your dog gets along with other dogs in the event we have another guest staying at the same time.

Valerie and Shannon always take such great care of Tucker! They are extremely responsive and send updates everyday. Tucker always gets so much love when he stays with them and never wants to leave. I never have to worry when I’m on vacation and love that they follow his normal routine. I will definitely continue having Tucker stay with them when I travel.
Valerie and her husband took such great care of Tucker and made me feel very comfortable leaving him for a week. They were very flexible with pick up/drop off and sent pictures/updates every day. Will definitely reach out for them to watch him in the future.
Valerie and Shannon are wonderful. Ruby loves having her own vacation at their house.

Schedule
My husband and I are a team doing this, so they get double the love! I work for myself as a professional photographer… So bonus you’ll get lots of snapshots :-) My husband is a physical therapist and works M-Th, which makes for lots of extra attention on the weekends.

We recognize just like children, people have different rules for their pets, and we will be sure to treat them the way that you would want. We have no problem, administering medication and taking care of their daily routines.
A typical day
Will gauge the activities based on the activity, level of your dog, whether it’s walks, a place to run, fetching, or playing tug… Will be sure to engage them, so they feel most at home.
