Pet care experience
I’m a former vet assistant and doggy daycare associate, where I would assist in administering medication, training, nail trimming and overall pet care. I’ve always had a deep passion for helping others and our planet. I have over 4 years of professional animal care experience, and 12+ years of personal experience caring for my own dog. In my free time, I volunteer at the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife in Sanibel, Vester Marine Field Station, and I coordinate voluntary beach cleanups.

Valeria took care of our senior dog who can no longer be boarded. She did a fantastic job, gave us multiple updates every day and she was very attentive to all the needs he has at 18 years old! She took great care of our house as well and allowed us to enjoy our time away from home without having to worry!
Valeria is amazing!! She has watched our two pups, a 5 year old golden & a 13 yr old cocker spaniel, a handful of times now. She has done over night stays and drop ins for us, and never fails to take the best care of our boys, and our home! Her communication is always prompt, thorough, and she sends plenty of pictures! :) She’s willing to go above and beyond with all my quirky requests, and gives me peace of mind having to leave my babies with someone. Up until last year I had never left my cocker with anyone other than my parents (that’s 12 years!), so it was huge for me to find someone I could trust and feel comfortable with, and I’m so happy I did - cannot recommend Valeria enough!! She’s the best!
We have had Valeria take care of our cat and dog on two occasions ( 2 nights and 5 nights). She stayed at our house and took excellent care of our pets and house. Our dog , a border collie, is extremely active and requires lots of exercise and playtime. Valeria did a fantastic job. She sent us videos to keep us in the loop. We highly recommend her.
Valeria has been great to work with and I've always had a good experience. She did a wonderful job caring for my high energy dog and met his unique needs with compassion. She was also professional and communicated often. I highly recommend her.

Please let me know if there is any specific info I should know about your pet, anything you think is important for me to know while they’re under my care. For instance any allergies, if they are dog reactive, people reactive or have an illness, or certain fears like thunder.
A typical day
I would love to take your dog to the dog park (if allowed) to stimulate them physically/mentally. I love going on nature trails, so I could take them to a local park like North Collier Park or Baker Park (if that’s okay with you of course). I'd take them on 15-20 min walks at least every 4 hours (depending on their needs) and play with them daily. I can also help them practice their commands (if requested).
