Dogs have been a part of my heart since I was six years old. I cared for my own sweet dog for over 10 years until he passed away last year. That experience taught me what it really means to love and care for a dog like family. Now, I’m here to give other pups that same love, whether it’s through gentle walks, drop-in visits, overnight care in your home, or cozy boarding in mine. I’m patient, reliable, and truly passionate about making every dog feel safe, happy, and at home.

Valeria has cared for our mini Dachshund, Diesel, three or four times over the last year. Last week when Valeria arrived to pick him up last week before our trip, Diesel was so happy to see her and eagerly jumped in her car. That was a huge relief and allowed us to enjoy our trip without worry. Valeria sends texts with pictures to give us updates along the way. We know he is well cared for!

I’m currently a college student home for the summer, so I have lots of free time to dedicate to your pup! I’m flexible on weekdays and weekends and happy to adjust based on your needs.

At my home, your dog will enjoy a fenced yard, lots of playtime, and a cozy, dog-loving environment. I live near a beautiful trail that’s perfect for walks, and your pup will get plenty of attention and care. I also offer drop-in visits and overnight stays in your home, where I always treat your space and your pets with the same love and respect as I would my own. Whether it’s maintaining routines, giving potty breaks, or sharing cuddles, I’m here to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved wherever they are.
A typical day
Depending on your dog’s energy level and preferences, we’ll go on neighborhood walks, play fetch, do treat puzzles, or enjoy some cuddle time. I always make sure pets are mentally and physically stimulated while keeping their safety and comfort as the top priority. If your pup has a favorite game or toy, I’m happy to include it in our day!

- Before watching a pet, I like to learn a few important things to make sure I can give them the best care possible. It’s helpful to know if they have any allergies, medical needs, or if they take medication. I also like to understand their daily routine — including meal times, walks, and sleep habits — so I can stick to what they’re used to. Knowing how they behave around other dogs, new people, or different environments is also important, especially if they’re shy or reactive. If your dog has any specific fears, triggers, or behaviors I should watch for, please let me know. And finally, if you use certain commands or training methods at home, I’m happy to keep things consistent while they’re with me!
