Hi, welcome to my profile! I have been part of Rover for over five years. So far, I have cared for nine dogs, four cats, and two bunnies. I decided to join because I love spending my free time around animals. My passion for furry critters began when I was young. I grew up with multiple pets: three dogs, four cats, two gerbils, and numerous chickens/ducks. One of my childhood dogs I raised from a puppy. I taught him basic obedience and potty training. Also, I would occasionally pet sit my cousin's Yorkie for a few days by feeding him, filling his water bowl, and going on walk adventures around town. My current pet is a two-year-old orange tabby cat named Ted, whom I adopted when he was two months old. Thanks to these experiences, I am very familiar with basic dog and cat care. Additionally, I have six years of volunteer experience at a veterinary clinic and multiple animal shelters. My duties involved socializing/exercising pets, photographing animals to improve adoptions, and organizing veterinary medical gear.
