I am here to help
I have been taking care of many of my friend's pets for a long time, particularly during holidays, long weekends, or vacations. They say that their pets love me so I decided to give it a try and offer my help to more people. I have more experience taking care of cats. I used to foster cats at my own place for a shelter in Evanston. I can recognize when cats are unhappy or stressed, I like to play with them, clean litter, give medication, and make sure they are doing fine while their families are not around. You can contact me and we can talk more, I understand trusting someone else with your pet is hard.

Valentina was a huge help, cat sitting my two cats for two weeks on somewhat late notice over the Thanksgiving Holiday. She provided consistent updates and followed admittedly complex feeding instructions. She also warned me about a window that opened on its own, which was appreciated and showed her concern for my cats safety and well-being. I look forward to using her again in the future.
Valentina took care of Muffin so lovingly that my baby couldn't stop purring like a motor engine! She asked for a lot details beforehand to tailor her time with my kitty and she sent me a ton of photos and updates during her visits. Couldn't be more purr-fect!

Schedule
I am a scientist, I do research in a lab and I can accommodate my schedule based on your needs. I am an immigrant from Uruguay, I speak Spanish (but I am fluent in English), and usually I stay around during Thanksgiving or the Holidays.

Safety, trust & environment
I understand the difficulty in trusting some stranger to take care of your pets. This is one of the reasons why my close friends trust me with their pets. I genuinely enjoy cats' and dogs' company, I think the pets we rescued actually rescued us. I also don't like when I have to leave my cat alone for a short time and that is why I do my best to make sure that someone else's pet is receiving the love and attention they deserve.
A typical day
I make sure cats have everything they need to exercise when they are full of energy! I have some fun games at home that I can provide when boarding a cat.
