Caring for pets is something I genuinely enjoy, so I intentionally build it into my daily routine. I’m available mornings, some afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and I make sure each visit is unhurried so your pet gets plenty of attention and care.

A typical day includes walks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. Living by the beach means your pup can enjoy fresh air, new sights, and fun, stimulating walks. I also make sure there is plenty of downtime for relaxing and cuddles so they feel right at home.

I genuinely LOVE taking care of animals. As a healthcare provider, I’m very comfortable with responsibility, routines, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior or health. I have experience caring for both young pets and seniors, including administering medications and giving extra patience and attention when needed. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure owners feel fully at ease while they’re away. I recently lost my 14-year-old pup, who was truly part of my family. While I’m not ready for a full-time commitment to a new pet just yet, I miss having pets around. I’ll treat your pet with the same love, patience, and attention I gave my own. Also I accept same day drop offs!!!

I can’t recommend Val enough as a pet sitter on Rover! She took amazing care of my Shih Tzu while I was away and treated him like her own. From regular updates and photos to making sure he stayed on his routine, it gave my family and I so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. My dog can be a little particular (as Shih Tzus often are 😅), but Val was incredibly patient, attentive, and loving with him. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely great with dogs, I highly recommend booking with Val. I’ll definitely be booking her again! 🐾
