Hi! I’m Valentin, 21, a French dog lover on a gap year. I’ve grown up with pets all my life and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I’m calm, responsible and caring, and I love teaching tricks, playing, or just going for walks. I’ve completed au pair placements in Italy and Germany where I took care of both children and pets. I regularly fed, walked, and played with dogs (and one cat) and even went running with my German host family’s 3-year-old dog 🐶. Living independently and growing up in a rural area of France, I’m comfortable with home care, plants, gardening and keeping your house tidy while you’re away. Whether it’s pet-sitting or short dog walks, I’m energetic, motivated and ready to make your dog’s day fun and safe 😄. I always make sure they have all the food, water, and playtime they need. I’m very active, so if your dog loves to run and you have a forest or a trail where I can take him, I’d be happy to bring him along (that’s what I did with my German host family’s adorable 3-year-old dog)! I also enjoy reading on the couch, which will give your dogs or cats some company during their naps. If you’re teaching them new tricks, I can continue training them while they’re with me, or give them their medication if they’re on a treatment regimen. I also make sure they don't eat anything that could be harmful to them, and that they get an appropriate portion of food.

Valentin a vécu avec un chat et un chien depuis qu il est enfant. Les animaux ayant grandi en même temps que lui, il a appris a comprendre leur besoins en soins, nourriture mais aussi en jeux . Il a notamment promener régulièrement le chien et jouer avec le chat. Sans aucun doute il saura prendre soin de vos animaux et leur tenir compagnie pendant votre absence.

Since I'm not working right now, I have plenty of free time to spend with your pets. I'm available in the morning, afternoon, and evening if you need help :)
