Took great care of our senior dog.

My family and I were 8hrs away when we received a txt from Valen asking us to pick up dogs immediately due to them being reactive when she walked them. She was told to avoid other animals to prevent reactions and to use prong collar to redirect their attention. When we called her so we could discuss over phone instead of txt she admitted to not using the prong collar. Our dogs are big dogs and require prong collar to keep them from pulling while walking. Two days later I am at a Charity Event with my phone volume off and I see that I have 9 missed calls. Immediately I called back to find that our dogs had gotten into a altercation. Again, instructions given were not followed to prevent this from happening. We agreed to use crates and brought it there and she did not use them until we reiterated the need to crate them while she is gone. It was very stressful to be at a very important event and have to figure out alternative plans for our dogs. I had to ask my elderly Father. When he arrived the smell of marijuana was very obvious on Valen. We use Rover almost monthly for long weekends and have never had an issue before. I will not be using her again. We went above and beyond doing a meet and greet plus going over instruction verbally and through text message to prevent any issues. Valen assured us she would be able to manage our dogs.

I can’t say enough great things about Vallen! My dogs absolutely love her, and her home truly feels like a home away from home for them. She takes amazing care of them, always making sure they’re happy and comfortable. I especially appreciate how she sends pictures and keeps me updated throughout their stay, it gives me so much peace of mind. I’ve used her several times, and every experience has been fantastic. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter!

Valen is a great find! This is the third time she walked my dogs. One of them is very finicky with new people. Valen went above and beyond and now they are best pals. She communicates well and often. Will book her again!

Valen has taken care of our dog cookie for at least 3 times in the last year. We are very happy with her care and service. She’s always responsive and provide regular updates, including pictures. Our dog cookie likes her and this last time Valen even gave cookie Christmas presents! I totally recommend Valen for dog sitting!!
