Val is amazing. The level of love, care, and compassion she gives to animals is at a level I struggle to give to my own animals. She truly listens and sees them in ways that, at times, have me scratching my head and wondering how, only to then see the results of her efforts. I have witnessed firsthand not only the care she gives to her own animals but the same level of care she gives to those she watches as well. 5 stars :) Would Recommend!

Schedule
I’m currently available full time through mid-September, making this a great time to book! After that I take on seasonal evening work Thursday through Sunday, so I’m still available for daytime care and drop-ins year round. I’ll always be upfront about my schedule so you can plan with confidence.

Safety, trust & environment
My home is warm, relaxed, and animal-friendly with a fenced yard. We did hospice for a number of dogs and cats from 2014 to 2025, so we installed Life Proof floors and have furniture to accommodate the older ones. My two dogs, Daisy and Chloe, are social, dog-park regulars who welcome new friends easily. I have crates available for large dogs if needed.
Pets
A typical day
If your pup is the active type, they'll probably run around with Daisy (2yo Border Husky). She has lots of puppy energy and is gentle with small dogs and cats. She always checks in to make sure everyone is having fun. Chloe (13yo Chi Weenie) will oversee playtime and make sure no one is having too much fun. After a good romp, everyone relaxes on the couch or floor/dog beds while I clean up and work at my computer in the living room and keep an eye out for anyone who needs an outside break. The cats will be closed in my room since they don't enjoy visitors; the braver ones will be allowed out.
