I was a pet parent for over 7 years and have also been part of various animal rescue groups. I have also fostered several dogs in the last 5 years. I love animals more than anything else and will treat your pet like family. I am extremely patient with pets as I know how hard it is for them to get used to a stranger, so I will work with you to understand their behavior, likes and dislikes. I send photo and video updates throughout the day so you don’t have to worry about or miss your pets. I’m also very generous with cuddles if they like them. For me, this really is all about the animals, and getting that oh so precious unconditional love in return.

Urvi took care of my 17 pound Cavalier for a night while I was visiting a friend in NYC. My little guy is sweet but so sensitive and I was nervous about his separation anxiety. Urvi was gentle with him and I couldn’t have been more grateful for her understanding of his needs and approach to letting him feel safe and comfortable. I will definitely reach out again next time I’m in NY!
Urvi was an excellent dog sitter. We had never left Bella with anyone before and Urvi made it such an easy experience. She sent us updates and photos and took such good care of our senior dog. We are appreciative of Urvi! Amazing experience.

Urvi was very sweet to allow me and Cher to meet her for a quick walk before I would book her since it was Cher's first time using Rover and having Doggy Day Care at someone else's home. She was friendly and attentive with Cher, and send me updates all the time.

Urvi accepted a last minute multi-day boarding for my Frenchie. She was very flexible in adjusting the dates as my plans fluctuated. I received frequent updates and pictures as my pup settled in and he seems as happy as can be. Genuinely thankful for Urvi’s accommodation of my last minute and changing requests as our normal sitters were unavailable. Would gladly book again.

Schedule
I currently work from home 90% of the time and only go in for 1-2 days a week for 3-4 hours at a time when there are meetings/physical presence is required

Safety, trust & environment
I treat pets like family, they are welcome to cuddle with me on the couch. I also am very diligent about watching them & ensuring they are happy at all times. I live in a studio apartment, so if your pet is very high energy and tends to need space to run around/chews or gets into things, then it may not be the best fit.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on longer walks in the morning and evenings, allow for generous time for them to sniff, take in the outdoors and a quick break in the afternoons since it’s hot in the summer. I also give them generous playtime indoors
