Cozy Cat Haven
We have been caring for cats through Rover for the past two years, and before that, we spent three years fostering cats. Altogether, we bring about five years of hands-on experience caring for cats of different ages and personalities, from playful kittens to calm seniors and from outgoing cats to those who are more shy and need extra time to feel comfortable. We understand that every cat is different. We do our best to follow their normal routine, respect their personality, and give them the space, attention, and affection they need to feel safe and comfortable while away from home. Uriel works from home full time, so someone is home with the cats throughout the day. This allows us to spend plenty of time with the cats and provide attention, playtime, and companionship throughout their stay. Our home is set up with cats in mind. We provide: 1. Bowls for food and water 2. Cat trees and perches for climbing, lounging, and watching what is going on 3. A variety of toys for play 4. Cozy beds and resting areas with plenty of comfortable places to relax and nap Our goal is for your cat to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while staying with us. We know being away from home can be an adjustment, so we allow each cat to settle in at their own pace and do our best to make their stay as comfortable as possible. We truly enjoy getting to know each cat we care for and making them feel at home until their family returns. What to bring: We ask that you bring enough of your cat’s regular food for their entire stay so we can keep their diet and routine as consistent as possible. We also prefer that you bring your cat’s litter box or, at minimum, the same type of litter they normally use. Having something familiar can help make the transition to a new environment easier. If bringing a litter box isn’t convenient, no worries, we have litter boxes.

Uriel and Melissa are great sitters! They took really good care of Cornbread and I loved getting update pictures of him regularly while travelling. When my return flights got messed up, they were flexible and supportive. Easy recommendation!
Uriel and Melissa took great care of my cat while I was away, and I appreciated the daily updates and pictures. He seemed happy and comfortable when I got home. They are very easy to coordinate and communicate with. I would highly recommend booking with them!
Love love love this family. Was so nervous. I had never used Rover before, never been this far away from my cat for so long before, and I've had a senior pet pass away while I was on a trip. So just a bundle of nerves. They immediately made me feel at ease, provided lots of pictures. I knew from my cat's face in the photos she felt safe and cared for. My flight got delayed and they were super accommodating. I will keep coming back to them as long as they are petsitters and live in this state. I can't say enough good things about them💕

Schedule
We are currently working full time with a hybrid schedule. We work from home at least twice a week and we are available to board your cat all week!

A typical day
A typical day includes interactive play sessions with toys, cozy cuddle times, and engaging activities like feather wand chases or puzzle feeders. We ensure plenty of relaxation atop cat trees, creating a perfect balance of fun, exercise, and rest for you cat.
