Pick me for love and belly scrubs!
Animals have always been a part of my family and a big part of my life! In my childhood home, I had the pleasure of loving and caring for 3 black labs and many fluffy felines. During 2023 and 2024, I took on multiple dog- and cat-sitting roles across Australia, including overnight stays, walking, feeding, and play dates. I started using Rover in 2024 upon returning home to the UK and have been caring for people's pets (alongside my wonderful partner) throughout my studies for my current Zoology degree.

Uma looked after our pet cat for 1 week and I can honestly say I've never met such a friendly, caring and loving pet sitter. Our cat can be quite shy (as he is very young) but Uma made him feel so at home and she even sent us daily pics to show how he was getting on. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in using Uma again - her lovely personality brought out the best in our cat whilst in her care and I have no doubts she would bring out the same in any others that choose to use her. Thanks Uma ...you are amazing !!
Uma was amazing! She came over to meet my dog before taking snickers for a walk, she was very kind and understanding of snickers needs. Would highly recommend!
Everything was fantastic and all that my senior cat needed to keep him fed, watered and to have his litter tray in kept order was all looked after and communications were great.
Uma was fantastic! 10/10 housesitter. She took great care of both our dog and cat, very communicative and knows exactly what questions to ask when preparing to take over care for a few days. Thanks!
Uma really helped me out when I needed last minute boarding. She was great and patient with Poppy who can be nervous with new people. Communicated well throughout Poppy’s stay and I came back to a happy dog :)
Uma was absolutely fantastic looking after our Labrador for our wedding day! She met us at the venue nearby and took Arlo for some much needed peace and quiet. She kept us updated with how she was doing and gave us peace of mind knowing she was so well cared for whilst we celebrated. Uma went above and beyond to care for our dog and I would definitely use again! Thank you SO much

Schedule
I am a mature student studying Zoology at Sussex University, and my partner works from home as a data analyst- so your pets will not fall short of love and attention as there is nearly always someone home during the week!

I am a calm person and like to build a positive and trusting bond with the animals I care for. I always allow them to come to me first and move at a pace that suits them, especially when in their environment. I love to play as it keeps them happy and engaged, and most importantly... I will always have a bag of treats in my pocket!! We have a spacious fenced garden, and live within a 10 minute walk to Queens Park, and 15 minute walk to the beach- so your pooches will never fal short of space to run around and play<3
A typical day
I am an energetic person and love to take dogs out in nature where there are lots of smells and plenty of space to run and play. I am more than happy to take your pooch for a run if it is part of their routine. At home, I will play with them until their heart is content and they are ready for a snuggle on the sofa!
