Hello, I'm Uma! I started offering services on Rover 6 years ago and now I’m thrilled to say it’s my full-time job! Since 2020 I've had the pleasure of meeting, walking, and playing with over 100 of your amazing pets. I'm insured, Pet First Aid Certified, and a member of Pet Sitters International. I'm currently servicing the upper Peninsula from San Francisco to downtown San Mateo. I’m a lifelong pet owner - I’ve had the privilege of living with a German shepherd, a Yorkie, and 5 cats - and have experience with many different breeds. I have also worked on farms and served as the sole caretaker of an island cat sanctuary in Croatia. I have a genuine love for animals and I will ensure that your furry friends receive the care, attention, and companionship they deserve while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I always tailor my services to each pet’s unique personality and routine. I am an excellent communicator with a proven track record of providing peace of mind for pet owners, offering regular updates, photos, and personalized care plans to keep you connected. I take a lot of pride in my work and am passionate about making the world a more peaceful place for all living things <3 ABOUT MY SERVICES HOUSE SITTING (FULLY BOOKED THROUGH 2026): I take house sitting jobs very seriously. Not only are you trusting me to care for your animal, but your home, as well. I treat every house with the same courtesy I expect from others. I NEVER bring anyone you have not met to your home unless it is agreed upon beforehand. I know how nice it feels to come home to a clean house, and I am happy to take care of light housekeeping before departing. While there, I keep everything clean and tidy, and put anything I use back where I found it. I typically send updates at the end of the day, including everything your animal and I did together and some fun pictures. This way I’m not bothering you on your vacation, but you have a nice debrief at the end of the day. Of course, I am always available via text should you need to get in contact with me. I can typically stay with your animal during the day, but will need to periodically leave to drop in on cats, walk dogs, or run errands. I never leave your animal without first taking care of its needs. DROP-INS (currently only accepting Nov/Dec 2026 requests): I am always happy to drop in on your furry friend while you’re away. I can feed them, play with them, bring in your mail, water your plants, and do pretty much anything else you need. I have a 100% photo update rate and am skilled at getting the cutest pics :) DOG WALKS (FULL FOR 2026): Exercise for your pup AND for me! I love walking dogs and am happy to bring them around their familiar route or on a new and exciting adventure! On the Peninsula we’re pretty lucky to live near some great walking trails that I know dogs just love. I have experience walking all types of dogs: big, small, energetic, runners, sniffers, you name it. I am also happy to take 2 or 3 dogs at once. All my walks are tracked on Rover and I send lots of photos so you can see how much fun we had together!
