Dogs have been a part of my life since I was 16, when I convinced my family to welcome our first golden retriever puppy into our home. Since then, my love for dogs has only grown, I have cared for my own pets and had the joy of pet sitting for many people over the years. From energetic puppies to calm seniors, from tiny toy breeds to big lovable giants, I’ve had hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I bring years of experience of care and a deep sense of empathy and connection with every dog I meet.

Safety, trust & environment
I live with two friendly roommates who love animals just as much as I do, so your pup will get lots of love and attention. We have plenty of space in the common areas for lounging, playing, and relaxing. I have easy access to nearby walking trails and parks which are perfect for daily walks and outdoor time. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate that too - whatever helps them feel safe and comfortable while you are away.

Uma was wonderful! I was so worried about leaving my dogs for a longer period of time, but I felt a million times better knowing they were in such good care. She sent regular updates and kept us in the loop, and she was patient and accommodating with the time difference. We will absolutely book her again.
Uma did an amazing job house sitting for 5 days taking care of our very anxious dog Roux! She was conscientious and very caring. Highly recommend her!
Uma asked thoughtful questions about my pup's care when we first met that let me know my pup was in good hands. She took good care of my pup and provided a lot of updates and photos that helped put my mind at ease while traveling.
My dog Luna absolutely adores Uma! She sprints straight up to Uma's bed when we arrive and it's clear that she feels loved and right at home. Uma has watched Luna on several occasions, including a multi-week long trip, and is incredibly reliable and communicative. It's such a relief knowing that Luna is so happy and well-cared for while we're away.
As a pet owner for over 10 years herself, Uma knows the ins and outs of pet caregiving. She is compassionate, responsible, and diligent, ensuring that your pet receives the best possible care, and that you are always kept in the loop.
I have observed Uma with 2 pet dogs over the years - a retriever and later a native indie that was adopted. The pets gravitate towards Uma a lot and are cheerful around her. Uma really enjoys her time with them. Uma is a great care provider for them - which included discipline around their diet and exercise, and attention to medical issues when they arise. The warmth between the pets and Uma was mutual and enjoyable to see.

I work from home so my schedule is flexible and perfect for pet care. I’m around during the day for walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping your furry friend company.
