I’ve have been a proud pet owner and pet sitter for over 20 yrs. I have experience with medication administration, feeding walking bathing and nail trimmings. I’ve had and worked with all types of dogs and cats from spicy to shy from to reactive to calm. So I’m comfortable with almost any dog or cat. I foster both dogs and cats from the local animal shelter as well when I have the time/space

Ulysses has been our go-to for care for our pup for over a year now. We never worry about Lars while in his care and he’s always going above and beyond to make sure he’s well cared for and tired out while we’re away.
We wish we could take our pup with us all the time but we always feel good leaving him with Ulysses and his pack knowing Lars is well cared for and always comes home happy and tired.
Consistently great, the dogs always have something to do and are well cared for. Very flexible too.

Koko is not an easy dog—he has significant separation anxiety, which can make leaving him quite stressful. But Ulysses managed to calm him down and create a comforting environment that Koko truly needed. Not only was Koko well taken care of, but Ulysses went above and beyond by agreeing to cook Koko’s favorite food to supplement his diet, which showed his dedication and understanding of Koko’s specific needs. I work for myself and create my own schedule so I have plenty of time to be with your pets or at least work my schedule around their needs.

Safety, trust & environment
At our home we have a fully fenced in large yard (a little more than 1/3 acre) including a fenced off dog run. And in our home for cats we have a catwalk in the living room, plenty of window hammocks, cat trees, toys and a catio. Plenty of love and positive reinforcement/ redirection as needed .Solid schedule and plenty of enrichment. I have a deep understanding of animal behavior and language which will help me ensure you pet stays safe and comfortable. My dogs are super friendly and love to share their space with other animals. They will surely welcome your fur babies. My cats are friendly too. They will welcome any cat or dog.

A typical day
We play lots of fetch and tug of war in this house. I run around the yard with my dogs. a little more than 1/3 acre to sniff and run. Enrichment time. Also lots of trail walks
