I enjoy spending time with pets and pay attention to their mood to grasp how they’re feeling. I am attentive and want them to have the least stress possible while they’re in my care. I have an 8 y/o chi.mix that loves to zoomie around and rest as needed. He is well socialized and can manage different sizes and temperaments. He has limited tolerance for puppies and will set up a boundary when he’s had enough, the longer he spends with a dog the more comfortable they become. I’d love to bring my pet for socialization, depending on your pets needs, he can remain with my family if needed.

A typical day
We love to walk the neighbourhood and sniff out all the messages they find interesting. Dog park is an option, our favs are Bonnycastle (small and intimate) and Charleswood (spacious and enables dogs to do their own thing with occasional dog encounters) At home we cuddle on the couch and if there’s a will for play -tug of war/ fetch. We do treat time 1-3/day where they can demonstrate their special tricks and receive praise and a yummy snack.

I grew up caring for large breeds and cats, today I am a mom to a chi. mix angel. I have experience sitting a wide range of pets for family &friends. I have utilized positive reinforcement to train and socialize my toy breed starting at 6 months of age. I am an avid dog park goer and love to praise a good patient sit.
