I’ve grown up around dogs through friends, family and neighbours, and have regularly helped care for them over the years. I’ve dog-sat, taken dogs on walks, fed them, played with them and kept them company while their owners were away. While I haven’t owned a dog myself, I’m comfortable around dogs and understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs. I’m patient, attentive and happy to follow your instructions to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and well cared for. I especially enjoy spending time with dogs and giving them plenty of attention, whether that’s going for a walk, having a play or simply keeping them company at home.

Udo was fantastic with my dog! He suffers from anxiety, but she was incredibly calm, patient, and understanding with him. She knew exactly how to handle him and helped him feel safe and comfortable. I’d happily recommend Udo to anyone looking for someone caring and experienced with dogs.
Udo is a wonderful, caring pet sitter. She’s looked after our two dogs, Millie and Flossy, and always goes above and beyond to notice what they need. Flossy is an older dog (14 in human years) with some extra requirements, and Udo handles her care thoughtfully and patiently. I’d recommend her to anyone who wants their dogs treated with real love and attention.

Schedule
I work freelance and primarily from home, so I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for pets. I’m able to fit walks, feeding, playtime and companionship around my day, rather than being tied to fixed working hours. This flexibility means I can be attentive to each pet’s individual routine and make sure they get the care, attention and company they need while you’re away.

I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable and relaxed in my care. I’m respectful of their usual routines and will follow any instructions from their owners, including feeding, walks, medication and any other specific needs. In a pet owner’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure pets are supervised, cared for and never left in an unsafe environment. I’m also happy to keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and doing well. My approach is calm, patient and attentive, and I take the time to get to know each pet and what makes them comfortable.
