Large fenced dog-friendly backyard!
I've taken care of dogs for most of my life but don't have my own at the moment. My place and backyard is perfect for dogs to run around, especially those who don't get along well with others at the dog park, are reactive, or need special attention. I'm within walking distance to two dog parks and a wonderful trail along the river that I love taking dogs to for some off-leash play and swimming (depends on the dog of course). I've sat many puppies now for long trips and understand what they need. For socializing outside of dog parks I have two close friends who can bring their dogs over: one chill dog who is amazing with puppies and one extremely energetic dog who always wants to play.

Tyson is great with our handful teenage puppy. He gives great tips and is great at communication. He is our number one puppy sitter in Rover!
Tyson was super calm and amazing with my boy Benny. Benny is a big boy who has high anxiety and barks at everything that scares him or is unknown. Benny reacted very positively to Tysons calm demeanour, and loves his yard. Tyson made sure Benny was taken care of, loved, and kept me informed throughout the day, with small check ins and a photo of him out on a walk :)
Tyson took wonderful care of our dog while we were away. She is very shy around new people, but he was incredibly patient and gave her the time and space she needed to feel comfortable. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos, especially hearing about her progress each day. He also took her on walks through the trails, which she loves, and it was clear she was well cared for and happy. Knowing she was in such kind and caring hands gave us real peace of mind. We would highly recommend Tyson to anyone looking for a reliable, patient, and compassionate dog sitter!

Tyson is awesome & excellent with dogs. Our dog Cody warmed up to Tyson right away which we are super grateful for as Cody can be reactive with new people. Tyson was patient, and helped Cody settle in by playing with him, taking him for walks & showing him great care & affection. We received photos & updates! Thanks Tyson! Cody had a blast & he can’t wait to come over again!

Schedule
I build custom niche fitness equipment for gyms usually by traveling to them for a month at a time. I get a lot of advanced notice for these and mark them on my calendar. When at home I'm fulltime tinkering in the woodshop or Twitch streaming video games. When scheduled with me I'll have lots of time available for getting doggos their exercise and cuddles in.

I have a fenced yard with dog friendly plants and a wide open single floor home that works great for pets (all hardwood floors with plenty of comfy doggy beds). I've ripped out the lawn in the yard and replaced with local plants that I think are more interesting and natural. I have lots of sticks all across the yard to play with and a couple digging holes that I let dogs go nuts in as it's their vacation!
A typical day
I love to chase around dogs in my backyard, play tug and frisbee. Small walks through the unpaven alleys of my neighborhood and big walks down to the river or to one of the dog parks a couple blocks away.
