Large fenced dog-friendly backyard!
I've taken care of dogs for most of my life but don't have my own at the moment. My place and backyard is perfect for dogs to run around, especially those who don't get along well with others at the dog park, are reactive, or need special attention. I'm within walking distance to two dog parks and a wonderful trail along the river that I love taking dogs to for some off-leash play and swimming (depends on the dog of course). I've sat many puppies now for long trips and understand what they need. For socializing outside of dog parks I have two close friends who can bring their dogs over: one chill dog who is amazing with puppies and one extremely energetic dog who always wants to play.

Tyson is awesome & excellent with dogs. Our dog Cody warmed up to Tyson right away which we are super grateful for as Cody can be reactive with new people. Tyson was patient, and helped Cody settle in by playing with him, taking him for walks & showing him great care & affection. We received photos & updates! Thanks Tyson! Cody had a blast & he can’t wait to come over again!

Just picked Toba up after 3 weeks with Tyson. She was super well cared for and very happy at Tyson's home. He played and cuddled with her, walked her, took her to her favourite spots. Couldn't have asked for a better sitter. We could enjoy a worry-free vacation knowing that Toba was safe and loved. We got updates on Toba and the trust we put in Tyson payed off. Tyson is highly recommended and Toba is looking forward to her next stay with him.
This was our very first time boarding a dog. We found Rover, and through Tyson we felt very comfortable from the start. Tyson's communication was very good. He kept us up to date the whole time we were away including pictures. Milton (our rescue dog) took to Tyson right away. Tyson's home checked all the boxes for Milton's care. We are completely happy with the service Tyson offered for Milton.
Tyson was great with our 6 month old puppy! He sent us daily updates and Coco had a great time. Would definitely rebook again!

Schedule
I build custom niche fitness equipment for gyms usually by traveling to them for a month at a time. I get a lot of advanced notice for these and mark them on my calendar. When at home I'm fulltime tinkering in the woodshop or Twitch streaming video games. When scheduled with me I'll have lots of time available for getting doggos their exercise and cuddles in.

I have a fenced yard with dog friendly plants and a wide open single floor home that works great for pets (all hardwood floors with plenty of comfy doggy beds). I've ripped out the lawn in the yard and replaced with local plants that I think are more interesting and natural. I have lots of sticks all across the yard to play with and a couple digging holes that I let dogs go nuts in as it's their vacation!
A typical day
I love to chase around dogs in my backyard, play tug and frisbee. Small walks through the unpaven alleys of my neighborhood and big walks down to the river or to one of the dog parks a couple blocks away.
