I grew up in Rochester, NY, surrounded by pets, and have years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. My family has a Golden Retriever, Rocky, and a Portuguese Water Dog, Piper, so I’m very comfortable caring for different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Since moving to Charleston, I’ve also helped care for friends’ dogs, including an Australian Shepherd, Memphis, and a French Bulldog, Bella. I’ve handled check-ins, walks, and general care, so I’m comfortable adjusting to different breeds, energy levels, personalities, and routines. Having cared for pets at different stages of life, I understand that every animal has its own personality and routine. I’m dependable and attentive, and I'll follow your instructions closely while giving your pet the same care and attention I would give my own.

I provide care in your pet’s own home, where they can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I’ll follow any instructions you provide for feeding, walks, playtime, litter boxes, medications, or other daily needs. I’m respectful of both your pet and your home, and I’ll make sure doors, gates, leashes, and other safety measures are secure during every visit.
Ratings and reviews
Tyler is a loving, patient, and dependable pet caregiver. For years, he has helped care for our nine-year-old golden retriever, Rocky, and our thirteen-year-old cat, Brody. He enjoys playing with Rocky, taking him on walks, and giving him plenty of belly rubs. He is equally gentle and attentive with Brody, who loves cuddling with him. Tyler has a genuine love for animals, and I would confidently trust him to provide excellent care for anyone’s pets.

Schedule
I currently work part-time, around 22 hours per week, which gives me plenty of flexibility for pet care throughout the week. My work schedule varies, so I’m often available for walks, drop-in visits, and other care during both weekdays and weekends. I’m happy to coordinate with you ahead of time to make sure your pet’s normal schedule and routine are covered.
