I work remotely from home, so I’m able to keep an eye on your dog at all times. With my dog Darren, we keep a regular schedule of potty breaks and walks about 4–5 times a day (or as needed), and I would bring your dog along at the same time. I like to think I’m good at being receptive to a dog’s needs, so I can always facilitate extra outdoor time or bathroom trips as needed. Your pet is welcome to make themselves at home on my couch or bed. I also have a crate that fits small to medium-sized dogs if they need some privacy or a cozy spot for a nap. I’m happy to feed and give medicine on any schedule you provide. Just let me know how I can make your pet’s stay as comfortable as possible, and I’ll gladly accommodate.

My apartment includes a living space, separate bedroom, and bathroom, all of which can be explored or gated off as needed. Any space your dog has access to is fully puppy-proof. I keep a stash of toys (and some harder-to-get-to treats, if allowed) to enrich your dog’s stay. My building also has elevators, which makes coming and going easy for handicapped or senior dogs.

I’d love to know if your dog is good with other dogs beforehand, as they will be staying with Darren as well. Any other tidbits about their needs or habits are great too.

Pet care experience
Hi there! Tyler here, lifelong dog dad with a work-from-home nonprofit job in the heart of NoMa. I’ve been an experienced dog sitter and walker for several years. To me, dogs are more than just pets — they’re lifelong friends. I have my own pup named Darren, who I raised from 3 months old. He’s my best friend, a member of my family, and I’d treat any animal in my care the same way. You can expect daily updates on playtime, naps, and feedings, and you’re always welcome to reach out and check in! I know how important it is to keep tabs on how a stay is going, so I make myself available at all hours of the day.
Reviews

Tyler is great! He is very communicative and considerate. My dog ,Brie, seemed very comfortable and relaxed. His updates and pictures were helpful describing what her day was like while her stay. Definitely will be returning to Tyler for future stays!

Tyler is an amazing pet sitter. He has watched our pup Archie many times over the last year and each time he has been easy to schedule with, sends lots of videos and photos and most importantly Archie is always SO EXCITED when he sees Tyler and his dog Kevin. Whenever I drop Archie off he SPRINTS to see Tyler - which makes me feel fantastic.

Great care of our baby girl and Tyler was super kind and thoughtful!

Tyler did a great job looking after my dog! He kept me abreast of how my dog was doing throughout the day and provided me with photos. Recommend.
