Hi, I’m V! I grew up in a veritable household zoo, with cats, dogs, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and more and have been walking dogs and house-sitting for friends and neighbors since I was a teen. Though I don’t currently have pets of my own, I have several nieces and nephews whom I love like they’re mine! My love of animals led me to working part-time in a busy kennel and doggy day-care during college, where I administered feeding, medical care, and play for up to 60 dogs of various sizes at a time. A fun challenge—but I love to meet animals where they are, get to know their individual personalities, and build trust in their own spaces. I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals of different ages, temperaments, and care needs. I’m excited to meet your furry friends and help where I can!

I’m currently offering house-sitting, pet care in clients’ homes, and dog walking. I have a lot of experience housesitting for family and friends, caring for dogs and cats in their own spaces, and keep a clean house.

We came home to happy kitties and had no worries about them getting their meds! Cat management in our house can be a lot! And we appreciate the lap time and attention they received!
Vy (Tyler) was an incredible sitter. We had absolutely no problems and were very happy with the care given to our two dogs. He would periodically send photos and videos of our dogs playing and made sure that we didn’t have to worry about them at all on our trip. We will definitely be booking with Vy again!

V loves animals! They grew up with dogs and cats, and have extensive knowledge of animal care, but more importantly animal love. They will care for your kitty with extra belly rubs, head scratches and lap time! They will happily take your dog on long walks, play fetch in the backyard so they are ready for a nap while you are away. V is also familiar with caring for animals that need medicine or special care. Your fur babies will be well cared for, and well loved!
V has house- and pet-sat for me many times over the years. They have taken care of my 60 lb yellow lab when she was a crazy puppy, at the same time as my three cats. They are very reliable, easy to communicate with, and love spending time with my fur-children. I know they previously worked at a busy doggy daycare, so they have lots of experience with a wide range of dog sizes, personalities, and temperaments.

I’ve recently moved from NYC to Birmingham, AL and am working freelance, so I have plenty of flexibility in my schedule to make yours easier!
