Safety, trust & environment

care for pets by following their established routines as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. In both my home and my clients’ homes, I prioritize safety, consistency, and attentive care. For dogs, this includes proper leash handling, exercise suited to their energy level, feeding as instructed, fresh water, and plenty of positive reinforcement. For cats, I focus on calm interaction, litter box upkeep, feeding routines, and respecting their individual boundaries. I’m attentive to behavioral cues and health changes and communicate clearly with owners through regular updates. I also have experience administering basic care and supporting pets during recovery periods, always ensuring they’re comfortable and closely monitored.

Information Tyler M. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know about any medical needs, allergies, medications, fears (such as loud noises or other animals), or behavioral quirks, as well as how they interact with other pets and people. I also appreciate knowing what helps them feel safe and relaxed when you’re away, whether that’s a favorite toy, music, or a specific routine. My goal is to keep your pet’s experience as close to normal and stress free as possible.

A typical day

I tailor activities to each pet’s personality, energy level, and routine. For dogs, that usually means a mix of structured walks, relaxed sniffing time, play sessions (fetch, tug, or toys they already love), and calm downtime so they don’t get overstimulated. I’m very attentive to body language and energy, so high energy dogs get more movement while senior or anxious pets get gentler pacing and reassurance. For cats, I focus on interactive play (wand toys, light chasing games), enrichment, and quiet companionship. Some cats want play, others want presence and I’m happy to sit, talk to them, or let them come to me on their terms. Overall, I aim to keep pets mentally stimulated, emotionally comfortable, and feeling safe and cared for like they’re just hanging out with a familiar person rather than being “watched.”

Pet care experience

I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and was raised on a farm with multiple large dogs, including bully breeds. I have hands-on experience training Great Pyrenees and other large dogs, and I’m confident handling strong, high-energy breeds. I also have extensive experience with cats and have always had one by my side. I’m familiar with all aspects of cat care, including post-surgery recovery, and provide calm, attentive support during healing.
