Safety, trust & environment
Every dog has different needs, so I actively build trust over time and tailor my approach to whatever suits their personality the best. I also have experience administering medications and dealing with more introverted breeds who may be slower to open up.
Information Tyler I. would like to know about your pet
Definitely let me know your dog's temperament. How they interact with other dogs, cats, and children. If they have any phobias, allergies, or medications they take.
A typical day
I'll try to start with playtime activities like tug of war, fetch, or puzzle toys with a treat inside. It's important for the dogs to associate me with positive feelings, so trust can be built. If the dog is shy or apprehensive, I'll respect their personal space and let them come to me whenever they feel comfortable. In those cases I'll usually just watch TV and leave a spot on the couch where the dog can join me once they realize I'm not a threat. After a couple of visits when trust is built, we can plan trips to the dog park, dog beach, or a walk near Front Beach Road, Pier Park, or Downtown Panama City. Somewhere with good sidewalks and nice views.

Pet care experience
Hey there! My name is Tyler, and I'm a 25 year old based in Panama City Beach who is on the Autism Spectrum. As a new provider I offer highly competitive rates, a price matching guarantee for first time customers, and a complimentary treat for your fur baby! 🐶🦴 There are a lot of great pet sitters you could choose on Rover, but you'll be getting the best bang for your buck if you book with me. Since I'm new here, I have a wide open-schedule and can build trust over time with your dog. Plus, you'll feel great knowing that you made a positive impact in your community by helping someone living on disability make ends meet. While never required, cash tips after service are greatly appreciated and allow me to keep my base prices as low as possible. If you have any further questions or would like to schedule an appointment, feel free to contact me and I'll respond as soon as possible. Have a great day!

Super sweet and patient with a skittish rescue I just got. Also recommended she get her anal glands expressed which I appreciate as a new dog parent
Tyler is super friendly and loves animals. He’s helped hold down my homestead while I’ve been away. He’s done a great job taking care of my chickens, cats and goats. 10/10 would recommend
Tyler loves animals, and is very gentle and caring with any animal he meets! He loves the companionship, and is a wonderful, caring pet owner!
I recommend Tyler to be a pet caregiver for Rover. He is a caring man who loves animals and strives to take good care of them. Tyler has autism but does an excellent job caring for himself and his dog Scout. I’m sure he would be a wonderful caregiver for all animals in his care.
