What sets me apart as a sitter is my combination of calm, responsible care and real hands-on experience with animals and high-stress situations. I’m an EMT, so I’m trained to stay level-headed, attentive, and dependable in any situation that could possibly come up with either just house sitting or pet and house sitting. I also used to regularly volunteer at an animal clinic/shelter, where I’ve gained experience working with dogs who are anxious or need extra patience and structure. I’m comfortable following detailed care routines and paying close attention to behavioral cues. In addition, I have extensive personal experience house sitting and dog sitting for my sister’s high-anxiety, high-maintenance dog. That experience taught me how to be consistent, patient, and understanding with pets who need a little extra reassurance and stability when their owners are away.
