I’ve grown up with animals and have experience caring for dogs, cats, fish, rodents, and even my tarantula! I’m confident with all kinds of personalities, whether your pet is energetic, shy, independent, or loves lots of attention. I’m naturally calm, organised, and great at following routines, and I always treat pets as if they were my own. I understand how important it is for owners to know their pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, companionship, or simply sticking to their usual routine, I aim to provide a stress free experience for both pets and owners. My home will soon be shared with two friendly kittens, so any dogs staying with me must be comfortable and calm around cats. Their safety and wellbeing, along with that of your pet, is always my top priority. For the safety and comfort of all animals in my care, I am currently only able to accept dogs that have been spayed or neutered. Thank you for your understanding.

Tyla was a perfect sitter for our puppy skylar, we were a bit anxious about going away and leaving her for the first time but Tyla provided us so many updates and told us exactly how she was getting on. Skylar has come back a very happy dog and from the videos and pictures she looked like she has had the best time!! Tyla and her Dad are lovely and we will 100% be rebooking with them. Tyla cared for our two dogs (miniature Schnauzer - 7rs; and Shnoodle - 3 yrs) over a three day period; where she was able to form a positive relationship with them both. She adhered to the feeding and exercise regime that existed within our household and we were very happy with the service she provided.

Tyla was great and from the photos it looked like Arwen had a wonderful time! It was a last minute booking but the communication from Tyla made it stress free.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for them in your home or mine, I make sure they feel relaxed, secure, and loved. I have a fully fenced garden for safe outdoor time, and I’m confident reading dog body language, so I can respond calmly and appropriately to different behaviours. I stick closely to your routines, keep feeding and walks consistent, and can also help with any special needs like medication. I’m tidy, respectful of your home, and happy to send updates so you always know your pet is in good hands.

A typical day
Each day is shaped around the pet’s personality and needs—I take the time to get to know them and build a calm, trusting bond. For active dogs, I love a good game of fetch or exploring new smells in the garden. For more laid-back pets, I’ll spend time sitting nearby, giving gentle fuss, offering chews or puzzle toys. I keep the energy low and positive so they feel safe and relaxed, especially in new or unfamiliar situations.
