Attentive, patient, and loving care
I can probably commit to staying with your dog the whole time they’re in my home. I've been around dogs my whole life (my first pet sitting experience was 17 years ago), and have a flexible schedule, stable routine, and plenty of patience. I’ve dealt with plenty of anxious pets and senior dogs. I love getting to know every pet's unique personality, and I take the time to learn what each dog needs to feel comfortable and settled.

I've known Twisha for six years. She's had pets all her life, and goes out of her way to make them feel loved and cared for. Twisha has had pets of all different sizes, from her childhood shih tzu to her current dog -a 50 lb beagle mix - so she's more than capable of taking care of small and medium-to-large pets as well. I trust her with my dog 100%, and think anyone looking for a sitter would be lucky to book her!

Schedule
I recently finished grad school and am taking a break, so your dog will take priority. If your pup is in my home, I’m happy to stay in with them most (if not all) the time and won’t venture out.

I live in a 750 sq ft apartment with two sets of front doors, which makes it impossible for pets to run out. I have a very friendly, curious dog who gets into just about any food left around, so my husband and I keep things secure. I can also crate dogs if needed. My dog is also great with other dogs (he isn’t possessive about his toys or bed) and will keep your pet company!

A typical day
The river and a park are both a 5-minute walk from my apartment, and Boston Common is a 10-minute walk away. I’m happy to take them wherever you prefer! I like to keep dogs active and happy without overdoing it. For downtime, I love a good couch session with belly rubs and just hanging out together. For anxious pets or senior dogs, I let them set the pace. I also pay attention to what each dog enjoys, whether that's fetch, tug, or just following me around while I go about my day.

- Before the first visit, I like to learn as much as I can about your dog. It helps to know their general temperament, whether they get along with other dogs, whether they pull on a leash, how much stimulation they need, and anything that makes them nervous or uncomfortable. I also want to know about any health issues, dietary needs, or medications. The more I know going in, the easier it is to keep your dog comfortable and give them the kind of care they're used to at home. My dog will be there for any meet and greets so we can make sure they get along, but let me know if you’d like me to keep some space between them. Let me know ahead of time if your dog can’t be left alone, and I’ll confirm that I can be with them the whole time! I won’t leave them alone for than 15 minutes, 2-3 times a day, regardless.
