Hello, my name is Tvega (pronounced Ta-vay-ga) and I love caring for animals! Myself, I have a senior Collie/Retriever named Misty and a dwarf rabbit named Nugget. In addition to caring for my own pets and babysitting for friends (ex: Rye, the Airedale in my pictures), I worked at a boarding facility for dogs and cats. There I gained a lot of knowledge about dog behaviour and training and it has become a passion of mine! There is a special place in my heart for senior dogs and toy breeds like Yorkies, however, I loved working with ALL breeds and learning their different personalities. I also volunteered at a cat rescue for 4 years and developed a better understanding of cat behaviour through the variation of cats that came to the rescue. This included kittens, seniors, cats with health conditions, semi-ferals and timid cats (which were my personal favourites!). With the rescue, I also cared for different species of small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds).

Tvega is fantastic with pets, prioritizing their well-being. She's skilled at handling dogs, cats, and smaller animals. Highly recommend for walks, sitting and/or training them.
Tvega took the best care of my sweet Maggie. She has genuine love for all animals and she really shows it through her care. Maggie is particularly shy and picky, but Tvega took the time to understand her preferences and needs. I highly recommend her services!
Tvega has been a fantastic dog sitter for Rye, my Airedale Terrier! Tvega not only takes the time to make Rye feel comfortable and loved but also goes above and beyond with walks, playtime, and giving her plenty of attention. She also works on maintaining Rye's obedience training, adding that extra enrichment to keep her sharp and content. Rye always comes back home relaxed and exhausted from all the fun! I couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter! Highly recommend.
