I currently work part-time as a medical assistant, with most of my shifts lasting only about five hours. While the specific days I work can vary from week to week, my schedule remains flexible and leaves a significant portion of my day available. This allows me to provide reliable care for your pets, whether that means walks, drop-in visits, or simply spending quality time with them while you're away.

Safety, trust & environment

When caring for pets, I focus on making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. Over the past two years, I have regularly cared for my grandparents' dog, which has included feeding, refreshing water, letting her outside for bathroom breaks, playing with her, monitoring her well-being, and providing companionship throughout the day. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so I make an effort to follow owner instructions closely and maintain the environment they are accustomed to. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, attention, or simply having someone nearby, I am happy to provide the care and companionship they need while you're away.

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Turner, and I am currently a medical student at UAB. While my current living situation doesn't allow me to have a pet of my own, animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with two loving dogs who were truly part of the family, and I miss having that daily companionship. Although I don't currently own a pet, I have helped care for my grandparents' small-to-medium mixed breed dog for the past two years whenever they have been away.. Through that experience, I've become comfortable with feeding, walking, playing with, and providing attentive care to ensure pets feel safe and happy while their owners are gone. As a medical student, I am responsible, dependable, and attentive to details. I understand the trust that comes with caring for a beloved pet, and I treat every animal with the same patience, kindness, and respect that I would want for my own. I'm excited for the opportunity to spend time with your pets, provide them with excellent care, and enjoy the companionship that I've missed since having dogs of my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
