Pet care is a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. I take dogs out for walks every day to ensure they get fresh air, gentle exercise, and a chance to explore our lovely neighborhood and nearby park. For pups who are hesitant to walk or prefer to stay home, we have a fully fenced and secure yard where they can safely play, stretch, and relax at their own pace. I typically feed dogs twice a day—once in the morning after their AM walk, and again in the early evening around human dinner time. If your dog has a specific feeding schedule or dietary needs, just let me know and I’ll be happy to accommodate their routine.

To keep all pets safe, healthy, and happy in our home, we kindly ask that your dog’s vaccinations are up to date and that they arrive clean and under active flea prevention. This helps us maintain a sanitary and comfortable space for all fur guests. Please understand that unclean dogs or those with fleas can affect other pets and compromise our environment—your cooperation is greatly appreciated. We highly recommend scheduling a meet-and-greet before confirming any new booking. It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, see if it’s a good match, and go over any special needs or care instructions your dog may have. Feel free to message me anytime to set up a visit! Drop-off & Pickup Hours: Earliest drop-off: 8:00 AM Latest pickup: 9:00 PM For any other times, just reach out—we’re happy to coordinate with you in advance. Rate Update Notice: Starting in 2023, Rover has increased the commission it takes from sitters. This change may affect prices shown on the platform. If you’re a returning client or planning a longer stay, feel free to message me directly—we're happy to work out a fair and customized rate for you. 💸 $20 Off for New Bookings: If this is your first booking on Rover, use the code LIEAL54017 to receive $20 off your stay. https://www.rover.com/sit/lieal54017 I can’t wait to meet and care for your beloved fur baby! 😊

Information Tuotian W. would like to know about your pet
Important to Know About Your Pet To ensure the best care possible, please let us know in advance if your dog has any special needs or behavioral considerations. This includes things like feeding preferences, potty frequency, energy levels, anxiety triggers, or any quirks we should be aware of to help them feel safe and understood. 🚫 Please note: We do not accept Pit Bulls. Thank you for your understanding. Even for returning guests, we kindly ask that you share any recent updates about your dog’s health and behavior before each new boarding stay. This includes recent medical treatments, deworming medications, vaccinations, or changes in mood or energy. Dogs can be highly sensitive to even small changes in their body or environment, and meeting new doggy guests may also influence their behavior. We believe that no transition should be overlooked—by sharing recent updates, we can better support your dog’s emotional and physical well-being and help them adjust smoothly to their stay. Your thoughtful communication makes a big difference, and we truly appreciate it. 🐶💛
A typical day
Each day starts with a gentle morning routine—after waking up, we take the dogs outside for their bathroom break. Depending on the weather and the pace of the day, we usually head to the park for a relaxing walk and a bit of playtime. This outing typically lasts at least 30 minutes and is often the highlight of the dogs’ day—they absolutely love it! Once we return home, it’s breakfast time, followed by some well-deserved rest. The mid-day hours are calm, allowing the dogs to nap, lounge around, or enjoy quiet indoor time. After they wake up, they’re free to play in our fully fenced yard, soak up the sun, enjoy their toys, or join in a game of fetch. As the day winds down, we serve dinner around the same time as our own. Depending on the weather, energy levels, and overall mood, we sometimes go for a short evening stroll—an extra treat that helps the dogs relax and sleep better at night. My philosophy in pet care is to provide a calm, predictable, and nurturing environment. When dogs feel relaxed and safe, they naturally settle in and truly enjoy their stay.

Pet care experience
✨🐶Welcome to Our Cozy Back House Dog Retreat!✨ Thank you so much for all the trust and support over the years. I’m incredibly grateful for all the amazing pets and families I’ve met through Rover. Meeting all of you and caring for your sweet furry little ones has truly brightened my world. The beautiful moments we’ve shared created such meaningful and precious connections, and whenever I think back on them, I feel deeply touched. Every time I got to see them again, it genuinely made me so happy. I’ve always loved that kind of pure and simple joy, and I’ll always treasure those memories. Due to some health reasons, I’ll need to step away from pet sitting for now. Sending lots of love and wishing you and your pets all the best.❤️ We live in a quiet, pleasant neighborhood in the back house of our lot—a spacious and clean home shared by two people and our beloved senior male Pomeranian, Tobby,at his 16 years old, he is gentle, calm, and easygoing—a sweet soul we’ve cared for with love and dedication since 2009. His peaceful presence sets the tone for a soothing environment, ideal for fur guests who prefer calm over chaos. 🐶 A Quiet Companion & Soothing Stay for Sensitive Dogs With Tobby’s quiet and non-reactive nature, our home offers a serene space well-suited for senior dogs or pups with gentle, shy, or sensitive personalities. Whether your dog is elderly, anxious, easily overwhelmed by high-energy environments, or simply prefers a slower pace, they’ll find comfort here. Your pup will enjoy a peaceful, secure environment both indoors and in our fenced yard—where they can roam safely, nap in a sunny spot, or rest on the sofa without pressure or overexcitement from other dogs. 🏠 A Comfortable and Familiar Setup We encourage you to bring your dog’s own food, bed, bowls, toys, or anything with familiar scents that will help ease their transition. We’re happy to accommodate special care routines, including: Dietary restrictions Medication administration Anxiety support or behavioral notes Sensitivity triggers (e.g. fear of loud sounds, hairdryers, etc.) Please include these details in your pet’s Rover profile for smooth communication and tailored care. 🎥 Daily Updates for Peace of Mind You’ll receive daily photo and video updates showing how your dog is settling in—whether enjoying a quiet moment, sniffing around the yard, or relaxing indoors. We’re committed to ensuring your pet feels safe, understood, and cared for like family. ⚠️ Important Considerations To maintain the calm and comfort of our home (and be considerate of our neighbors), we cannot accept dogs who are prone to loud or persistent barking, or who experience severe separation anxiety that leads to vocal distress. Tobby is especially sensitive to stressful or highly energetic environments, so we aim to preserve a peaceful space for all. Thank you for understanding. We look forward to welcoming your furry friend into our quiet, loving retreat—especially those who need a little extra gentleness. 🐕💕
Reviews

As someone with a senior dog, going on vacation and finding the right person to take care of him is always a challenge. Tuotian was amazing, providing tons of videos and photos of my dog, Alda, having fun with his fellow senior paw pals and getting tons of attention and exercise so I didn't have to worry about how he was getting on while away from me. Tuotian and her husband truly understand senior dog behavior and how to care for them!

Amazing host Liea and her hubby showered Churro with lots of love and caring. Will be back again and again!

It’s the second time we have our dog boarding at Tuotian’s home. They take care of her very well and I can feel their love to all the paw friends. I got video and pictures daily. Many thanks

Thank you for taking great care of our Westie last 2 days ! He had a great time and came home happy and exhausted from all the fun play! We really appreciate your attentiveness in learning his habits to keep him engaged. :) Will definitely be back the next time we need dogsitting. Many thanks
