Former Animal Shelter Volunteer
-I've taken care of dogs of all sizes since I was in high school. I've petsitted, walked, and played with dogs of neighbors, friends, and family members. - I used to volunteer at the Animal Protection Society of Durham Animal Shelter where I was awarded the Durham Mayor's award for completing over 100 hours of volunteer service. At the shelter, I walked, fed, and played with dogs waiting for adoption. I also participated in promoting dog adoption events through print media and public outreach. - I also have a puppy and an 11-year-old Dachshund so I have experience with the little ones and bathing dogs!

Truman C. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.
Truman was able to accommodate last minute changes on my end and watch both my pups. One of our dogs was post surgery and needed special attention and Truman was great handling all of his care. He did a great job and the pups were sad for him to leave!! Truman is our go to for daytime walks and overnight trips.
Truman was great! My schedule is always changing and he was able to work with me and be flexible which was awesome. Goose is a handful as a young puppy and Truman was great taking care of Goose. I will be using him again!
Truman jumped in last-minute for some unexpected travel I had. He took care of my energetic dog and a new kitten, kept me updated, and I came home to happy pets. He asked good questions to prepare for their care, and I’d happily recommend him.
Truman took amazing care of our 10 week old corgi, Bini. If you’re looking for someone who’s very communicative and caring, I recommend Truman. I will definitely continue using his services.
Truman watched my dog for a few days and gave him constant attention and activity while keeping me updated with frequent pictures. My mini dachshund isn't always the friendliest but he took a liking to Truman immediately. My dog also has health issues that he was able to accommodate for (medication, not letting him go up stairs, etc). I needed a sitter last minute and Truman was readily available. I will definitely have Truman watch my dog again.
