I no longer work full-time. IF I do have to pop out to the local shop, I can watch the dogs on the doggie camera. My dogs are used to have the radio on.

I usually take the dogs out for their first walk of the morning at 7am which is usually 1hr + or earlier if the weather is warm. They have access to my large garden, in the afternoon. I'll take them for a 45 mins walk late afternoon once they have been fed. Last toilet break is around 10pm but I will fit in with your dog's requirement.

It is important for your own dog's protection that their vaccinations are up to date and your dog has been treated for fleas and worms. I am afraid I don't let dogs in the bedrooms and if they are used to it, they may cry all night which is upsetting for them but also for me. If this is the case, then I am not the right dog sitter for you I am afraid :(
A typical day
I have two Havanese boys, Walter and Murphy who love meeting and playing with other dogs and are very sociable. I usually go for the longest walk early in the morning, a shorter walk in the afternoon, after they gave been fed, and a quick break before they go to bed. The dogs have open access to the large garden throughout the day. During the day, I brush all the dogs and have a little play with all of them.

Pet care experience
I live in a beautiful area of Dorset in the countryside, away from cars and roads, on a private 2000 acre estate. I take the dogs on long walks in the woods and farmland, straight out my front door - they absolutely love it. The rest of the time they can play safely and go mad in our large garden together with my two Havanese boys I only have 50% of my time, who so enjoy other dogs visiting. I love watching them play. In my life time, I have had small dogs but also Irish setters and Vizlas. I respect well trained dogs and carry out any instruction that is personal to your dog. I fully appreciate that your special dog will be nervous coming to a strange house but I spend a lot of quality time with them to develop a trust and bond with me to make them feel at ease. I am at home all day so the dogs will never be lonely.
Reviews

Ben stayed with Trudy while we were away for a week. He enjoyed lovely walks which Trudy sent us videos of. We were worried about leaving him as he is such a part of the family, so the updates were appreciated.

Trudy was extremely accommodating and fitted us in at short notice as we had to attend a funeral. Our flat coated retriever had a tremendous day with Trudy's two smaller dogs and was made very welcome. The surrounding area to Trudy's home is an amazing safe place for dogs, with freedom for them to run freely if appropriate. We can't recommend Trudy enough. Thanks Trudy! Diana & Richard
Trudy was absolutely fantastic, she looked after our dog overnight and made sure he was happy and well looked after. She sent us regular ‘pupdates’ and pictures of how Jasper was doing. I would definitely recommend her and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again x Thanks Trudy!! X

Ben stayed with Trudy for the day to see how he settled prior to booking a longer stay. It was lovely to receive photo and video updates throughout the day, which reassured us that Ben had settled. He had a lovely day enjoying the garden, country walks and snoozing on the sofa.
