Trudy has been pet-sitting and caring for our Labrador for almost three years. She would provide those services for a week at a time to several weeks at a time. Schedule
I’m home full-time in Oakville / Maple Grove area and would be delighted to host your beloved dog as if they were my own. My doggie guests always enjoy their time here — they feel and enjoy the personal attention in a relaxed home setting. Daily walks by the lake are a highlight and many are never eager to leave — that’s the honest truth!

Your dog will enjoy a XL secured fenced yard — perfect for outdoor playtime and fun in the fresh air! We take daily walks along the scenic Edgemere Lakefront Path, just five minutes from my home, as well as relaxing strolls through my quiet neighborhood. I also offer Leash Free Dog Park excursions at your request. My home is a crate-free accommodation, allowing each guest to feel completely comfortable and at ease — whether that means curling up on the couch by my side or even snuggled with me at bedtime. If your dog prefers a crate, please feel free to bring one along — I’ll make sure they feel right at home, however they’re happiest. I’ve had the joy of hosting dogs in my pet-friendly home for many years and take great pride in meeting each dog’s individual needs. I welcome breeds from small to large, who are non-aggressive and thrive in a loving, calm, home-like environment. Meet & Greets are recommended to ensure your dog feels safe, comfortable and happy in my care. In the past, I’ve also led committees and organized fundraising events (Cause for Paws) in support of our local Humane Society — a cause that’s very close to my heart.

A typical day
Dogs need plenty of mental and physical stimulation and I make sure they get just that. We start our day with fun games in my large backyard, take a little break and then head out for lakeside and neighborhood walks where they can explore all the wonderful scents and sights.
