I've had dogs all my life and love them! I want them to have a happy, healthy life, so that's how I raise them. I take care of them, but I also have fun with them. I'll throw a tennis ball for hours, or hold them in my lap for hours. Whatever they need. My experience is only that I've enjoyed having dogs for pets for the past 40+ years and can't imagine not having them in my house. They bring me joy daily, so I want to do the same for them. I do work during the day, but my home is very close and my job is flexible. My husband and I are always able to come home during the day to take care of their needs.

A typical day
We have a large, unfenced yard. Our dogs have always had the luxury of running without a leash in the yard, but we are able to have a tie out if necessary. When we go on walks, dogs are always leashed. We have many sidewalks and walking paths near our home and plenty of dog toys.
