WE LOVE DOGS!!!
My wife and I have been passionate about dogs for over 36 years. We've volunteered at the SPCA for the last 8 years, which is truly the highlight of our week. In that time, we've rescued over 50 dogs off the streets, reuniting them with their owners or finding them loving forever homes. We've also fostered 20 dogs, both long and short-term, and raised three wonderful Weimaraner's who all lived to be over 14. As they say, if you can raise a Weimaraner, you can care for any dog! After recently retiring, I’m now available 24/7 to take care of your pups and their needs. While my wife continues to work full-time, she'll still be involved every step of the way to ensure your furry friends are pampered and loved. We’re updating our profile after three fantastic years as Rover sitters because we absolutely love what we do! We only take care of one client's dogs at a time and have no pets of our own, so your dog will get 100% of our attention. We keep the same routines your dog is accustomed to at home—whether that means sleeping on beds or couches, special diets, or anything else they need. Our home features a large, fenced, grassy backyard and access to the best walking trails to the river in the Sacramento area. We’d love to welcome your furry friend into our home and make sure they feel just as comfortable here as they do at yours.

Absolutely terrific! Took great care of our dog Shasta while we were out of town. They send several fun pictures and videos of Shasta on his various adventures on walks and in their home. Highly recommended!

We are so grateful to Troy and Patricia for their caring approach to pup sitting! We have 2 yorkies, one of whom has special needs, and they hosted them in their beautiful home. Troy and Patricia were amazing with our sweet Mica. They understood all of her special needs and instructions and played with her so much! They were extremely communicative, reliable and kind. Mica misses you both!
Can’t recommend Troy highly enough! Fantastic service and crystal clear communication. Our sweet toy poodle Nala vacationed in style and came back super relaxed and more content and well adjusted than I could have ever imagined. Amazing service and couldn’t have been a more perfect stay or experience!
Troy and Patricia were wonderful. They accomodated our hectic schedule and treated Scruffy like he was their own pup. We had a lot of concerns with it being the first time we had used Rover, our dog has a little anxiety and it was for an overnight visit. Troy is Scruffy's new best friend and I would be delighted to have them take care of our pup again. Thank you very much for everything!
